I love Anne of Green Gables! In this interpretation of Anne, I envision that Anne hasn't been at Green Gables very long.
Marilla has made her a long white nightgown that will do for most of the year. She also has her very own redware mug, just right for a hot cup of tea on those cold Canadian mornings and for a mug of warm milk at bedtime.
Always a great reader, Anne comes with a linen bound copy of her favorite poem, "The Lady of Shalott," by Alfred, Lord Tennyson, and also a hardcover book of the first volume of her very own story, "Anne of Green Gables."
