FrocksI have long wanted to create
Christmas doll specials, and I am
happy to introduce Holly as the
very first Christmas Doll from
Little Princess Frocks. Holly is a
limited edition of 5 dolls.
I
asked Geri to create these five
dolls as a limited edition tribute
to one of my very favorite
Christmas books, "The Story
of Holly and Ivy," written by
Rumer Godden in 1958. (If you
haven't read this book, it's sweet
and charming and heart-warming and
a very lovely doll story!
Wonderful for sharing with
children!)

the doll. Her name, of course, was
Holly. It could not have been
anything else, for she was dressed

I have
taken liberties with the doll Ms
Godden described, but I hope that
I have kept her original spirit!
