Gabriele
Mueller began sculpting porcelain dolls in 1996. Her main focus is authentic reproductions of natural human expressions. Working with a sculptor, she has widened and refined her artistic skills.
She specializes in portrait dolls approximately 28 cm high. Everything is hand made, the sculpturing, molding, processing, designing and sewing of the clothes..all done by Gabriele. The limbs all movable. The heads, shoulders, arms and legs are all done in finest porcelain china. The eyes are high quality German glass, the wigs are either mohair or human hair.
Only the highest quality materials are used in the fabrication of these dolls, their clothing, and accessories.
Since 1997 Gabriele has been the recipient of several awards and nominations for awards, including Puplikumsprize in Neustadt/Coburg; Max Oskar Arnold Kuntsprize {4 times}; and the Audience Prize in Neustadt/Coburg.
Currently her creations are being sold by top quality Doll sellers in Europe and quickly being discovered in the
U.S!
